Little chick is now a chicken

 translated from French by Elena Malec

You can see them here having their first meal. We gave them a special  flour for baby chicks

And in a little basin for chicks we make sure they have fresh water every day.

The photo below shwos them after their first week. They will stay close to home for a month;

They will still sleep with their mother in the shed where they were born.

After this month they will join the chicken coop. Their mother will take care of them

for a few days before being on their own.

Yet they grow very fast, The picture below is of a two months old chicken.

So long everybody! If you have any questions feel free to write us and we will be glad to share

from our experience. Remember this: it is so nice to watch grow these little ones.

We learned from our project that only with lots of patience we can respect Mother Nature.

We would like you do the same.
